1st time charge with Zappi V2 and IOG process / expectations
Within 30 secs IOG app sends me a msg with charging times from 11pm tonight. So this proves the zappi and octopus are talking. Oct app shows five charging schedules throughout the night. So thats it, does this all sound correct, is the messaging on the app and zappi correct, waiting for surplus etc. It''s in Eco+ mode.

I was curious about this too. I have a PIN set on the Zappi but I found a way to bypass it (for the untethered version at least). I can kill the power to the Zappi, plug in my EV, then turn on the power again. I can change the charge mode to fast quickly after it starts up. Not sure why the PIN protection isn''t required immediately after a restart.

You should try to get the Zappi v2.1 with Lan/wlan. then the HUB is integrated in the Zappi and you only have to bring the lan with a powerline adapter to the zappi. May be of interest to note that the Zappi is the master and Eddi is its slave, yet the Eddi light on the hub never changes to red - only the Zappi and Harvi. That said, whilst the Eddi shows surplus power (via data derived from the Zappi), it doesn''t heat while the Zappi and harvi hub lights are red (and while Zappi is no longer charging).
